John started about a year after his back surgery on a recommendation from his wife Karen. She thought it would help with mobility. He tries to attend two classes per week when possible.
John keeps coming back to yoga because he enjoys the classes and feels like it has helped in his recovery.
His favorite class is Peace, Love and a Healthy Back. His favorite poses are Child’s pose and plank pose. He finds himself using yoga breathing techniques and lingering in child’s pose when his back is hurting.
