A Federal Judge has ruled that indoor gyms can open in Michigan on June 25th. We are excited to open the Hippie Yoga studio space and start having classes again, starting June 26th. The first week we will have a limited class schedule. The following week starting July 6th we will have a regular schedule of In-Studio and Virtual class options.
We have added guidelines and additional cleaning protocols to help ensure the healthy and safety of all our students and staff. Even with all the additional measures we are taking, there is no guarantee. If you have existing health issues or a compromised immune system, please stay home and continue to enjoy our virtual options. If you are not feeling well or may have been exposed to Covid-19 please stay home and continue to enjoy our virtual class options.
You will need to register for classes in advance. We are limited to only 8 students per class. If you do not register at least 30 minutes before class, we cannot guarantee there will be a spot for you. You can register through the MindBody app or register from our class schedule page. We are also requiring a 2-hour cancelation notice if you cannot make it a class.
Upon entering and exiting Hippie Yoga please follow social distancing guidelines. As you check in with the teacher you will be given an assigned spot in the studio space. There are spaces designated for your yoga mats. To ensure adequate social distancing please line up your yoga mat in the designated space.
You will need to bring your own yoga mats and props. We are no longer able to have community props or yoga mats for use. If you are attending a Peace Out or Peace Frog classes make sure you bring a blanket or beach towel. If you would like to purchase yoga props you can do so on our webpage or in studio.
In accordance with the governor’s order masks are NOT required while practicing yoga. It is your personal choice if you decide to wear a mask while practicing yoga. We do ask that you wear a mask when entering and exiting the building.
We love the Hippie Yoga community and encourage camaraderie
between students. Unfortunately, it is better to limit our time inside together for a while. When class is over, we ask that you exit the building in a timely manner. Please take extended conversations outside.
Thank you for your patience and understanding. If you have any questions or concerns do not hesitate to call, text, or email me.
